Symphony of Light
Light painting is a technique that selectively illuminates subjects with light while the camera shutter remains open. A photographer paints a scene with light just like an artist paints canvas with paintbrushes. light painting is a fascinating technique. While it ca become vastly complex, it requires such simple items as a flashlight, sturdy tripod and a camera capable of long exposures. The exposure time can vary from a few seconds to a few hours; but on average, it spans several minutes.
Surreal Twilight
Golden hour of the night, magic hour, blue hour – all these attributes poetically describe the magic time of twilight.
Twilight light conditions have inspired many artists throughout history. Nicolai Roerich, Claude Monet, Clarice Beckett, Paul Delaroche, and many others depicted the blue hour in their masterpieces.
Images created during twilight are normally characterized by warm colors of unusual hues, enveloped in shimmering blues or rich cobalt. The richness and variety of hues of the blue palette available depend on the stage of twilight.
